Photo Frame Present by Reader

As promised I am featuring submissions from YOU my regular readers. This submission was sent to me by Deb of Toowoomba.
Here's a great gift idea that one of my regulars recently made. Thanks for this Deb. The frame is decorated with patterned papers and ribbons. Deb said she bought this frame from a shop but thinks you could save by getting your frame from a secondhand store or ebay etc. (The faces are blanked out as we don't have permission to show them online). The "G" is the first letter of the family name. Deb added the rest of the letters after taking this photo to preserve annonymity.

I think this looks great! And is such a great gift idea.

Cardstock only Layouts

After looking at the cost of a layout I'm going to challenge myself to do some cardstock only layouts (not for my wedding though). Do you think you could manage it? Well I'm not sure but I'm gonna give it a go. But it does get a little ridiculous the costs, con't you think? So I'm going to challenge myself to do a layout using cardstock and patterned paper only! Of course not having a cricuit or sizzix or anything this will mean hand cutting my title....... painstaking... BUT I think it'll be a challenge artistically too. These layouts were done by Deb of Toowoomba and you can see how she's used her paper and cardstock to acentuate her photo's theme.... I especially love the dolphin! When I went to a scrapbook evening recently one of the ladies did a fabulous layout using paper piecing. She made Dora the Explorer layous and her 'dora' was fantastic. Coffee Mugs are Finished

Here are the digi scrapped coffee mugs I told you about a few posts back. They're back from the "printer". These were really easy to do. I first created my document that I was digi scrapping and I made the size of the document 4" x 6'" (a standard photo). I then decorated that page using my digital scrapbooking papers and embellishments and finally added the photos. I then went to my local photo lab and uploaded these images to their software and chose to have them printed on mugs. (I chose the stretch option which stretches the image around the mug. So then I had to resize the image to get all my decorations on the mug). And here they are! It only took them a week to print them! So if you're thinking of doing this for a christmas present I think you may just get it back in time...... but check with your photo lab to make sure they could get it back to you before Christmas. I'm happy with the result..... hope the recipients will be too?

Ella is nearly 5mths old.

Here's the latest photo of my baby... She will be 5 months old next week... I love this photo so I thought I'd make a canvas artwork for her bedroom.. But I can't decide what to call it..... Joy? Beautiful? Cheeky? Or if I should do a E is for ... L is for etc thing on it? Any other ideas guys?
