Fun in the sun

Hey everyone, This layout was alot of fun to do as was the photo shoot! LOL.  We live near the beach so there are lots of beach photo opportunities in my stash!  This layout is very simple. I have used one piece of paper from one of the DCWV stacks (The Endless Summer Stack). Which I placed on a white piece of cardstock and cut out the clouds and using pop dots attached them back to the page. I cut the seagulls from another piece of paper from the same range and also attached them using pop dots. I varied the height of my clouds and seaguls to add extra dimension to the page. (I love dimension at the moment! It's a quick and easy way to add interest to your page.) I used some K&Company stickers I got at my local scrapbook store in the discount bin to embellish my page. The K&Company stickers had such dimension and were so cute I just had to use them on this layout. They were the inspiration for the whole layout. My title is a rub on from porta craft called Stitch Styl

I love paper! It's an addiction of mine. LOL I have so much paper and yet there's never enough.... lately when I'm wanting some more paper from one of the latest release collections I will purchase a small 6x6 paper stack as it allows me to feed my addiction for more paper by giving me lots of co-ordinating papers without needing too much space to store it or too much cost outlay. KaiserCraft is very good at providing wonderful co-ordinating paper ranges in these handy 6x6 paper stacks.  Below are some creations I recently did using some of the KaiserCraft Collections.  Here's a card I created with the Bubblegum Hills 6x6 paper stack Collection from KaiserCraft. Kaisercraft Bubblegum Hills Paper Pad 6.5"X6.5" 24 Sheets 10 With Glittr Foil Varnish Or Die Cut; 5 Items/Order These bowling shoes were decorated using paint, glitter and the English Rose 6 x 6 paper stack Collection from KaiserCraft. I replaced the shoelaces with two different ribbons. On

Martha Stewart Crafts Deep Edge Punch Flower Bed By The Each PROVO CRAFT Well Décor & More\ Cricut Wall Decor Shape Cartridge  This layout was also a really quick and easy one. When working with a photo I love I will do a single photo layout but usually I like to do multiple photos per page.... more economical you see.. LOL Anyway on this layout I stamped the photo mount area and hand coloured it with watercolour pencils. (I don't know who makes this stamp as there is no label on it, sorry) Using my martha stewart border punch I created a scalloped edge to my Kaszazz patterned paper. I also cut my title from a co-ordinating paper from the Kaszazz range (sorry no name on the paper for me to tell you it's code for purchasing). I used a title on my cricut cartridge "Wall Decor & More" so it was really easy to get the title the right size.  A little paint around the edge of the page was added as it looked a little bland otherwise. The butterflies were a gift f

What's Not 2 Love

Hey everyone, I'm back! I have officially finished all my extra curricular activities and am now back to devote my spare time to you.  I have lots of layouts to share with you and will do so over the next few weeks. This layout is a very simple and very cheap one.  As you all should know by now, I love to scrapbook, but I also don't want to spend a fortune on any one page! So being as economical as possible whilst not sacrificing the artistic merit of my work is a very high priority for me. This layout uses papers from the   Grace Taylor, Family Time range. I have also used some left over stickers (recoloured) and a a rosette and a heart shaped button. The chipboard letters are all left overs from packages I have purchased before and covered in paper from the Grace Taylor paper pad. The title for this page comes from the shirt worn by DD2 which says: "What's not to Love".  I didn't do much to this page at all just put my photos on photo mats and added
