Aluminium Cans for Scrapbooking

My sister-in-law is always on the lookout for me for topics or info for my blog. After looking through some old magazines she saw a tip where a reader uses aluminium cans for their scrapbooking. They cut them open, clean them and then emboss them. This is a great idea for a free supply. I like using the seal on the inside of the milo tin or baby formula tins as it is thiner (less chance of getting cut).

This is a great way to get a free scrapbooking supply..... Leaves you more budget to spend on other exciting things! lol

This is a cute little booklet I made from two sheets of patterned paper.  The first piece is folded to form the book with all the hidden nooks for tags or photos. The second piece is used to make the tags. I made this project for the trainee teacher who has been helping out in DD1's classroom this year. She has made a positive impact on DD1 and I wanted to let her know that. This little booklet seemed the best way to do that.  If you want to know how to make this book just leave me a comment and if enough people are interested I'll do you a quick video.
