Ella's first tea party

Gotta love those "firsts". This one was so cute. The kids asked if Ella could lay on the floor with them and I said yes only to discover it wasn't just a cuddle they were after but another attendee at their tea party... LOL

Sorry I haven't posted in a while ... been busy... you know how it goes. A newborn and then the school drop off and pick up thing and then there's the washing!

Added to all that I spent a night up at the hospital with Ella on Sunday as she had five separate chocking episodes and her lips turned blue and everything! We were a bit freaked out about the turning blue so we got the ambulance. They don't really know why she did it... here's hoping it doesn't happen again!

Gee hope that choking hasn't happened again...must have been dreadfully scary.
Love the first tea party...too cute.
So how are you? No I haven't dropped off the planet. I've been flat out doing some challenges for 8 weeks or so then got sick for a couple...the rest just busy. Too busy...we've decided to s-l-o-w down...easier said than done but we're working on it! Hope you beautiful little family is doing well.
No off to check out other postings here.

Cardstock only Layouts

After looking at the cost of a layout I'm going to challenge myself to do some cardstock only layouts (not for my wedding though). Do you think you could manage it? Well I'm not sure but I'm gonna give it a go. But it does get a little ridiculous the costs, con't you think? So I'm going to challenge myself to do a layout using cardstock and patterned paper only! Of course not having a cricuit or sizzix or anything this will mean hand cutting my title....... painstaking... BUT I think it'll be a challenge artistically too. These layouts were done by Deb of Toowoomba and you can see how she's used her paper and cardstock to acentuate her photo's theme.... I especially love the dolphin! When I went to a scrapbook evening recently one of the ladies did a fabulous layout using paper piecing. She made Dora the Explorer layous and her 'dora' was fantastic. Coffee Mugs are Finished

Here are the digi scrapped coffee mugs I told you about a few posts back. They're back from the "printer". These were really easy to do. I first created my document that I was digi scrapping and I made the size of the document 4" x 6'" (a standard photo). I then decorated that page using my digital scrapbooking papers and embellishments and finally added the photos. I then went to my local photo lab and uploaded these images to their software and chose to have them printed on mugs. (I chose the stretch option which stretches the image around the mug. So then I had to resize the image to get all my decorations on the mug). And here they are! It only took them a week to print them! So if you're thinking of doing this for a christmas present I think you may just get it back in time...... but check with your photo lab to make sure they could get it back to you before Christmas. I'm happy with the result..... hope the recipients will be too?

Ella is nearly 5mths old.

Here's the latest photo of my baby... She will be 5 months old next week... I love this photo so I thought I'd make a canvas artwork for her bedroom.. But I can't decide what to call it..... Joy? Beautiful? Cheeky? Or if I should do a E is for ... L is for etc thing on it? Any other ideas guys?
