"Star" Layout

Here is a layout I just completed of DD1's dance recital. I used the tickets from the event as the journalling which saved me alot of time either writing or typing and printing. The patterned paper I used for the background is byintrinsic enterprises and is called star dreamer (distributed by scrapbooking australia). This patterned paper also had another sheet with an adele baseer poem and some words on it which I added to the page. I then used chipboard letters which I inked and then painted with clear glitter paint to mirror the effect of the bodice of her outfit..... Cost of layout $2.20.

I will often use a patterned paper as my background but when I do so I must add this page to the back of a cardstock (previous) page otherwise the pages are too flimsy.
