Here's the final canvas I did with the family portraits in 'coral' Here I used another DCWV paper stack (can't remember the name of it though I think its' the Butterflies Stack) This time I decided to only have a couple of flowers on the layout and use the butterfly in the background paper as my embellishment. So I cut a few of them out and covered them with dimensional magic.  I tend to use alot of flowers on my layouts as I love them so much and now that I'm making them myself they're so cheap. But once in a while I also like to challenge myself to do something a little different. So three different layouts all using the same photos.

This layout is all about my best pet EVER! This is sassy. She was a fantastic dog. She seemed to understand everything I said (which is making it really hard cause my kids want a dog and I'm resistant as I know Sassy is a hard dog to replace, we've had 2 since her and they were't a shadow of her). She was more like my baby than my dog. Hence my mum is here playing this little piggy with her. Mum was practicing for grandkids. She had to wait 15 years till she got some but she was well practised with " This little piggy " when they (or rather HE) arrived.. LOL. This layout is called "Remember", which is very hard to see in the photo. I actually stamped and embossed "Remember" onto the page using a Heidi Swapp Stamp. I used the same colour scheme and similar DCWV papers as my layout "Hope" but here I have used them in an entirely different way You can see from the posts I have done that I have a few layouts using similar products. I...

My final layout of photos from the same day at our friends house. Again I have used the same papers and elements from that range.... and thickers from the $2 shop. I also stamped a kaisercraft journal spot onto vellum and cut that out . By using papers from the DCWV paper stack range I save alot on the cost of my papers. Usually a piece of pattern paper at my local scrapbook store costs between $1.80 and $2.50 whereas a piece of paper from the paper stacks costs $0.42 cents per page. (Sometimes less when they run a special the price drops to: $0.16cents per page.)
