Craft TV Weekly - Waterfall Fold

I was having a look at Craft TV Weekly and saw in the archives this excellent episode that I had missed. I love this idea because all it takes is cardstock to create this really unusual idea. It's all in the folds! There really isn't any way to adequately describe this project... you'll really need to see it for yourself.... Basically the Waterfall Fold is a cardstock project that folds all the elements into a neat flip fold. Then as you pull the bottom strip it folds down to reveal each page in turn.... if that makes sense? Just follow the link and check it out for yourself: http://www.crafttvweekly.com/player.html?wid=102 I liked it so much I actually downloaded the design guide ... though I don't know when I'll get around to doing it.. but that's o.k. it'll happen eventually. If you haven't seen the Scrapbook Lounge before I can highly recommend it. These webisodes are very instructional in nature and they are filmed to show off the techniques ...

Embroidery on a layout tutorial.

Of the past few days I've been talking about embroidery on a layout and emdoodling . If you're interested in trying a bit of embroidery on your layouts but don't really know where to start..... I suggest you go to: http://www.crafttvweekly.com/player.html?wid=82 and watch the webisode "I'm in Stitches by Tricia Morris". This is a great tutorial showing several different ways you can achieve either a hand stitched effect to your pages or the illusion of one. The thing I love about all the webisodes you find on this site ( craft TV weekly ) is the tutorial nature of the shows. You can easily go away from watching one of these webisodes and reproduce the techniques you learn . I also love the innovative ideas they come up with. Their ideas and designs are not only very practical for scrapbookers but also unusual and definitely original. But my most favourite thing about these webisodes is....... (yep you guessed it......)They're FREE!

This site is awesome! The Scrapbook Lounge is a fantastic site of weekly webisodes for you to view totally FREE TV. Yep there it is my favourite word FREE! I've watched a few of the archived videos and totally recommend you check this out. Many of the tutorials are done by the manufacturers. I like that because the manufacturer of a product tends to know it really well and can show you exactly how to get the most out of their product. I do suggest though that you just watch the shows, don't be too driven by the explanation as a few of the explanations seemed like topics I wouldn't necessarily be interested in but on watching it I found they were totally what I needed to know. So if you're looking for more tutorials than I've provided here (and who isn't.. lol) I can whole heartedly recommend this site. The only bad part for me is I have now found another thing to do in my spare time (whatever that is?). So apart from emails, blogging, forums and groups I no...
