Happy New Year!

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't wish you all a Merry Christmas... I meant to ..... but i got distracted preparing for christmas. So I hope you all had a lovely christmas. Santa was very generous to me this year. My scrapbooking collection has been expanded..... With a caddy full of stamping inks and a very large collection of brush tip pens and another caddy full of stamps..... WOW! I also got the best present ever! Pop took some fabulous photos of the kids which he had put onto canvas for me for my christmas present. They look so GOOD! I'll take a photo soon and put it up to show you all. I hope you all found something you wanted under the tree. We have two birthday parties to attend before New Years so I may be a little tardy with my next post. Hope you all have a wonderful New Years and the coming year is a Happy/Healthy and Prosperous one for you all!

Lets Ride!

Well this school holidays has been rather good for my scrapbooking.... Playdates are the answer! I did this layout really quickly during another playdate this week. As far as layouts go this one isn't very cheap , ($5) but the rub-ons were! I usually don't buy rub ons because they're usually so expensive. They take up my entire weekly scrapbudget in one purchase. I did find these at a shop very cheap though. The whole sheet was $2.50. The only way to find a bargain is to constantly be looking and to aways know the prices of things! I was browsing in a scrapbooking shop and when I saw these rub ons I had to have them. The price was definitely right and the sayings immediately brought to mind these photos. I do alot of browsing! Whether its online or in person. To enable me to take advantage of any " specials " I find whilst browsing, I have put aside $20 that I use for these shopping sprees. If I'm browsing in a shop and do find a great buy and...

Stamps, Stamps lots of Stamps

I was very naughty this weekend. I was at my local K-Mart and they had a box of stamps in a kit ..... well the price wasn't that reasonable at $59.00 but with over 150 stamps in the kit plus two alphabet sets including numerical..... how could I resist? There are so many sets in this lot: Flowers, love, wedding, baby, girl, boy, birthday, heritage, animals! And best of all they're clear mounted so they're more economical on storage space and it's really easy to see where you're placing your stamp. I know $59.00 is not very miserly of me. But sometimes you have to spend a larger amount of money for the overall saving. I know that purchasing 150 stamps even at $1 each (cheapest price I've found for a single stamp) would still cost me $150 then there's the alphabet sets to consider... Usually $4.95 each? So all things considered it was a very miserly purchase. I think stamps are one of the best purchases you can make as they allow you to create matching pape...
